God is still faithful!!!!
I just had to start with that after the way that I ended my last entry.
Since that time, Janet Klark has gone home to be with the Lord. She received the ultimate healing, the healing that we all aspire to achieve in the end.
She passed away Feb. 5th, 2009, a memorial celebration took place on May 23rd as was her wish.
John Klark has received awesome favor with the bills for the medical and life maintaining care, what should have cost him hundreds of thousands is coming out to be more than reasonable in comparison.
In turn John has received this blessing with a 'freely give what you have freely received' attitude.
One testimony of this is my own, in a time that I was greatly in need of a car (and often bringing the fact up to God) John answered my prayer. He answered it in the form of Janet's old car, the very car that Janet so often took me driving in to get me comfortable with driving. That car means so much more to me than just a car I use to get from here to there. It's a link between past, present and future. That car tells me everyday that God's will is at work in my life. "Driving me on." (cheesy but very true!)
In more recent news, I'm looking at going to college!!!
Maria College in Albany, New York offers an associates degree in early childhood education. This would mean two years of schooling at $9,100 a year, housing not available.
The housing issue definitely makes this a bit more complicated, however, there has got to be a way to work it out. I know that God directed my attention to Maria College for a reason so I also know that He will work it out.
My plan right now is to pursue student loan and grant options to cover the $18,200 of total tuition and a good cushion for living costs during the two years.
I'm also looking forward to possibly being more involved with Pastor's Michael and Mary Ellen Brennan at their church, The Shepherd's House. Which is not too far from Albany.
This past week I've moved out of the house that I was in and am in a bit of a transition time.
Starting early Sat. morning I'm house sitting for a friend from church until Friday the 5th. Around noon on the 5th I drive to Albany, New York to assist with a portion of the A-Team training. I come back to Vermont on the 17th with a day to spare before the 15 Days of Glory commence here at the cafe. During that time I'll be staying on cafe grounds.
In the days following that time I'm planning on staying at my friend's house where there are guest rooms to spare! Then it is hopefully (and very probably) off to college with me in late August!!!
All very exciting, praise God for breakthrough!
So with much excitement and even more love,
Camilla
