A lot has happened in the recent days and weeks.
Jackie is off at Elijah House, Phil is in Trinidad for the week and and we miss them dearly! Mom is just back from Arizona herself, my Uncle Jim is doing well after his surgery. The doctors believe that they removed all of the cancer and we were all greatly relieved to find that it had been based in his tonsils and not in his tongue as was first feared. This meant that they were able to leave his tongue alone, aside from a biopsy to be sure it was cancer free. He has chemo and radiation coming up, which mom will be traveling back to Arizona to assist him with soon. Todd has been cleared of all cancer as well, his petscan (done just this last week) came back totally clear of all signs of cancer! Praise God!!! He just has about six or seven more chemo treatments to go.
Janet Klark has been moved to a nursing care facility closer to her home and husband, we continue to lift her up in prayer and believe for a full recovery (no matter what that looks like).
I say that because just yesterday her husband, John had to make the extremely hard decision to let go and let God. Due to an infection and a fever John gave the doctors the go-ahead to remove her feeding tube. It's all up to God. We still believe in a healing because she'll be cured, whether it's a healing that keeps her here on earth or the healing of going to be with God our Father! We love her and we trust Him.
A word for the church:
This is certainly not our easiest season, however, it is bringing a stronger and purer church to the surface. Through all our trials and tribulations God has been, is and ever will be faithful (of that i have no doubt).
With much love,
Camilla
